Short version: your music and footage stay yours. Cascade does not claim ownership of the beats, clips, or other materials you bring into the product. This page summarizes the intellectual-property terms in our Terms of Service. If something here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control.
What you own
You retain ownership of the audio, video, images, captions, video styles, and other materials you upload or submit (“Your Content”), subject to third-party rights (for example samples, licensed footage, or someone else’s likeness).
Cascade does not claim your music. Exports you make from your own assets remain yours to post, subject to those third-party rights and platform rules.
What we need to run the product
To host projects, build previews and exports, provide support, and keep the Services secure, you grant Cascade a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content — only as needed to operate and improve the product. That license is not a transfer of ownership.
What Cascade owns
The Cascade product, software, branding, design, and documentation stay ours (or our licensors’). Using the Services does not give you ownership of those materials.
Your responsibility
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and use Your Content. Clearing samples, publishing rights, and platform rules is on you. See the Terms for the full license, acceptable-use, and indemnity language.
Notices
If you believe content on Cascade infringes your copyright, email support@cascadedept.com with enough detail for us to identify the material and respond.
